The Templeton family, along with other investors, bought and opened Creeks Bend Golf Club in 1968.
In 1978, Creeks Bend Golf Club welcomed Golf Professional Mike Nelms as the Head Golf Professional.
Over the years, Creeks Bend Golf Club has hosted a variety of tournaments. Beginning in the early 1970's, Creek's Bend hosted the first annual Coca-Cola Pro Am Tournament. Every year, the course also hosts a Junior Golf Camp and Tournament for kids ages 6 to 17 in the summer. This event is run exclusively by our Golf Professional Kevin Ashley . Junior Golfers are treated to a week of group and personal instruction given by Mike that culminates in a fun tournament giving the junior golfers a chance to show off their newly honed golf skills. And of course, Creeks Bend annually hosts its Member-Member-Guest Tournament. A great time is had by all who sign up for this event as they compete for prizes including the coveted Club Champion title.
Since its grand opening in 1968, Creeks Bend Golf Club has built a long and successful history with its memberships and club events.
